Longtime Real Estate Pro Ryan Mullins to Lead Location

Long & Foster Real Estate, the No. 1 privately owned residential real estate company in the United States, has opened a new office in Middletown, Delaware. The office is located at 490 East Main Street in Middletown, parallel to Route 299, just a few doors down from the Middletown Starbucks. Ryan Mullins, a real estate veteran with over 15 years of real estate experience, has joined the firm as Branch Manager of the new Middletown office.

Mullins explained that Long & Foster has been expanding its footprint in Delaware for the past few years and has done business in Delaware for over a decade. Recently, Long & Foster has opened real estate offices in nearby areas with strategic plans to further grow within Delaware over the next few years by expanding existing offices and launching others.

“I’m thrilled to lead the newest Long & Foster office in Delaware,” said Mullins. “The company’s stellar presence in its many other markets brings to our area a great amount of appreciation for this well respected company, and I look forward to growing our presence in Middletown. It’s our customers who benefit the most though: Long & Foster sells more homes by volume than any other company in Delaware and now we can deliver an even greater experience for our customers with the addition of the Middletown location.”

Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate, shared Mullins’ excitement for the new office, adding that “Long & Foster has been home to the best-trained and best-equipped agents in the industry for nearly 50 years, and we have no doubt that the new Middletown, Delaware, office will be the go-to resource when consumers in the area are looking to make confident, well-informed buying and selling decisions.”

Mullins brings to Long & Foster over 15 years of experience in Delaware real estate and the vibrant Delaware new home industry, as well as a background of growing real estate agents, teams and businesses. Prior to joining Long & Foster, he was hired to turn around a failing franchise office in southern Delaware. In just three years, the project recognized 100 to 200 percent growth in all relevant business metrics, catapulted 25 places to top seven in local market share and realized financial profit for the first time ever. Mullins earned his Delaware real estate license in 2008 and has since gone on to becoming a successful trainer, speaker, recruiter, mentor and global real estate and CEO coach.

“There are several goals with the new Middletown office,” says Mullins. “We will No. 1, serve the community with the absolute best experience they’ve ever had when transacting real estate and we intend to do that by No. 2, partnering with authentic, highly-skilled, well-trained real estate agents.”

“Ultimately, the goal is to create a movement in Middletown real estate. Long & Foster is the authority in Delaware real estate and we intend to bring that genuine connection in Delaware real estate to the true heroes of this Middletown community – its residents and members.”

Mullins and his wife, Laura, are long-time Middletown residents, and they live with their two children (Addy, 16, a junior at Appo High, and Maximus, 10, a 5th grader at Silver Lake Elementary), two dogs and a guinea pig. He spends most of his free time out in the community coaching baseball in Middletown’s MOT Little League and coaching football in the MOT Youth Football & Cheerleading League.
