Long & Foster Names Lydia Martinez as Chief Human Resources Officer

The Long & Foster® Companies, parent company to Long & Foster Real Estate, has named Lydia Martinez as Chief Human Resources Officer to lead the company’s efforts to become the employer of choice throughout its footprint. Martinez, who joined the organization as vice president of human resources in 2012, has a diverse industry portfolio that brings more than 25 years of experience in human capital development strategies to Long & Foster’s family of companies.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Martinez holds master’s degrees in organizational psychology and criminal justice from the University of Puerto Rico and Inter-American University respectively. She also holds a juris doctor degree from Washington College of Law and was admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 2002.
