Long & Foster Real Estate has been selected as one of the top five finalists for Best Real Estate Firm in the Richmond Times-Dispatch’s annual The Best of Richmond awards for the second consecutive year. In addition, Long & Foster teams The Yeatman Group, led by Kyle Yeatman, and the Jamie Younger Team, led by Jamie Younger, have been chosen among the top five finalists for Best Real Estate Agent Teams in Richmond.

Earlier this year, readers of the Richmond Times-Dispatch nominated their favorite local businesses in over 100 categories. Those with the most nominations made it to the online voting round, which began on July 7 and is open through July 21. In October, all top five finalists will be invited to the Richmond Times-Dispatch’s Best Fest, where the winner of each category will be announced.

“Long & Foster is honored that Richmond Times-Dispatch readers have nominated us once again as the best real estate company in Richmond,” said Brian Haug, senior vice president of Long & Foster’s Richmond region. “We’re also very proud of Kyle and Jamie and congratulate them and their team members on being recognized among the area’s best real estate agent teams.”

The award-winning Yeatman Group, affiliated with Long & Foster’s Tuckahoe office, specializes in new construction and newer existing homes. The group was Long & Foster’s top-producing team in the Richmond region for 2018, and it ranked among the top 250 real estate teams in the country in the latest REAL Trends The Thousand. Yeatman spent 11 years working in numerous roles in the new construction industry at every price point from entry-level properties to gated estates.

Younger began her real estate career in 1985 with Virginia Properties, which became part of Long & Foster in 1999. She has won numerous sales and achievement awards in the business by the Richmond Association of Realtors and the Homebuilders Association. After 30 years as a top producer, she created the Jamie Younger Team, which is affiliated with Long & Foster’s Virginia Properties office.

“We’re proud of all our Richmond-area agents and employees for their high level of commitment and earning this nomination, and we congratulate The Yeatman Group and The Jamie Younger Team on their nominations,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Our company’s reputation of honesty, integrity and best-in-class customer service spans more than 50 years, and the talent of our family of professionals is why we remain the top real estate company in the Richmond region and throughout the Mid-Atlantic.”
