Long & Foster Commercial Division Welcomes Gwenlyn Edwards

Gwenlyn Edwards has joined the Commercial Division of Long & Foster Real Estate in Tysons, Virginia. Edwards experience in the real estate industry spans over 30 years working in property management and leasing for private companies.  She has also worked with real estate investment trusts on their portfolio of properties or as a third party representative.

A specialist in retail leasing, Edwards is known for being detail-oriented and knowledgeable in the areas of accounting, property management, and construction. She has worked for many commercial property management companies including mall management for Franconia Associates in Springfield, Virginia; property management and leasing for First Washington Realty in Virginia and Maryland; leasing for Saul Centers in Virginia and Maryland, and leasing for Renaud Consulting in Virginia.

Edwards received a Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She holds real estate licenses in both Virginia and Maryland; and has a Certified Shopping Center Manager designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers.  She serves on the Board of Directors of the Lansdowne Conservancy in Lansdowne, Virginia and is its liaison to a professional review subcommittee which reviews development applications for conformance with the Conservancy’s Design Guidelines.
