Long & Foster Real Estate announced today that Bakh Safarov of the Long & Foster Commercial Division in Tysons, Virginia recently closed a $1.7 million transaction in Franconia, Virginia.

Safarov represented the seller in the sale of a 4,000-square-foot church on a one-acre lot at the corner of Grovedale Drive and Beulah Street. The church was built in 1977. It is also located near Courtyards of Alexandria Business Park, which has been a neighborhood landmark for years.

“The church wasn’t on the market for too long, said Bakh Safarov, commercial real estate associate of the Long and Foster Commercial Division. “Many parties were interested in the building for a variety of uses because of the location and the zoning.”

“We’re very pleased to have negotiated this transaction for the seller,” said Ron Glass, vice president and managing broker of the Long & Foster Commercial Division. “We’re confident this will be a good fit.”
