Long & Foster Agents in Staunton/Waynesboro and Charlottesville Take Part in Community Service Events

August 8, 2018

Long & Foster Real Estate agents and staff members across the Charlottesville and Staunton/Waynesboro regions made an impact in their communities by volunteering on the company’s 21st annual Community Service Day in June.

Some of the projects undertaken by Long & Foster field offices in the region included:

  • The Staunton/Waynesboro office spent a day sorting and boxing food at the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
  • Old Ivy, Charlottesville, agents and staff cooked for the Ronald McDonald House and planted flowers in the facility’s container garden on its back deck. The residence has 19 bedrooms and 4 kitchen stations for families to use when in the area for a child’s medical care. Long & Foster agents also cook for the Ronald McDonald families every other month.

“It’s always a privilege to give back to our communities, which have contributed so greatly to our 50-year record of success in helping people buy and sell homes,” said Brian Haug, Long & Foster senior vice president who oversees operations in Richmond, Hampton Roads and Southwest Virginia.
