Long & Foster Real Estate, the nation’s leading family-owned residential real estate brokerage, has named Jeremiah Ganeto as the new manager of its Silver Spring, Md., office. Ganeto has been part of the Long & Foster family for over 10 years, and during that time, he’s built a reputation for providing exceptional service to the clients and agents with whom he works.

“I look forward to taking on this new role at Long & Foster and to leading the exceptional team of real estate professionals at our Silver Spring/Downtown office,” said Ganeto. “I have a passion for helping others to achieve success, and I’m confident that my knowledge and experience in real estate, as well as my long history with our Silver Spring/Downtown office, will greatly help our team to continue building their careers and best supporting their clients.”

Ganeto joined Long & Foster in 2003 as a marketing assistant with the Silver Spring/Downtown office. He later took over as the office’s recruitment coordinator—a position he held for many years before focusing full-time on his real estate sales career. Ganeto earned his real estate license in 2005, and since then, he has earned numerous awards from the company for his service and production. As a member of the Silver Spring/Downtown office, Ganeto has served the local community through volunteer efforts such as coordinating office community service events, their annual Toys for Tots campaign, as well participating in the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtor’s (GCAAR) Rebuilding Together events. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Maryland Association of Realtors and GCAAR.

“Supporting today’s real estate agents takes a highly skilled leader, and I’m confident that Jeremiah’s experience in the real estate industry and with Long & Foster will help us to continue achieving success in the Montgomery County market for our agents and clients,” said Larry “Boomer” Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Adding exceptional leaders to our team is how our company has helped local buyers and sellers meet their homeownership goals for over 45 years and how we’ll continue to do so for the years to come.”

Ganeto is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, where he earned an honor’s citation and Bachelor of Science dual degree in marketing and supply chain logistics from the Robert H. Smith School of Business. He is a lifelong resident of the greater Washington, D.C., area.
