Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent real estate company in the United States, welcomes Howard Fletcher to its Virginia Commercial office, in Vienna, Va. Fletcher will be specializing in commercial leasing and sales, primarily in Montgomery County and the District of Columbia.

“We are very excited and fortunate to have Howard Fletcher join our team of highly trained professionals,” said Ken Ulsaker, executive vice president of Long & Foster’s Commercial Division. “The combination of Long & Foster and Howard’s unique skills and knowledge will no doubt provide the highest level of service to local buyers and sellers.”

Fletcher has more than 14 years of real estate experience and has been one of the top producing realtors in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.

“I started my career with Long & Foster residential in Bethesda, and the training and support I received from the company was without parallel. When the time came to move my business 100 percent into commercial, there was no question that Long & Foster would be the best place to do so,” Fletcher said.

Deeply committed to giving back to his community, Fletcher works on the fund raising and events committee of the DC AIR Society and National Jewish Health. He is on the board of trustees of We Will Survive Cancer and the Vytautas Magnus University Foundation. He is on the executive board of Network 4 Progress, a member of the Georgetown Business Association, and also an active supporter of Men Against Breast Cancer, the Diamond Dream Foundation, and American Red Cross blood services.

Fletcher holds Bachelor of Science degrees in management, marketing and business from Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Maryland, as well as a master’s in sports psychology from the University of Maryland. He resides in Silver Spring, Maryland.
