Lana Perkins has joined Fonville Morisey Realty as a full-time sales associate of the Preston office. Born on the Big Island of Hawaii, Perkins embodies the Hawaiian spirit of aloha.

“The aloha spirit is something I carry with me to all the faraway places I’ve moved to and also it’s the symbol of southern hospitality that means welcome, good cheer, warmth and affection between all those who dwell within this home,” Perkins said.

Perkins has spent her life relocating to different cities and states, having attended two elementary schools, two middle schools, and two high schools all before turning 18. These experiences helped her learn to adjust to new schools, areas, cultures and people.

Her most recent relocation was through Fonville Morisey Relocation Services in 2007, when her husband and she moved from New Hampshire to North Carolina.

With a strong background in finance and sales, Perkins is an experienced, natural sales person who understands the value of relationship building though traditional and modern methods.

“I believe that when preparedness meets passion, results are achieved,” Perkins said.

In her spare time, Perkins enjoys reading, writing, hiking and spending time with her husband of 20 years and their two sons. She also owns a jewelry company where she designs pieces by incorporating handmade paper beads with other high-end materials to create unique pieces.

Perkins is a member of the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors, the North Carolina Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
