Erika Schadt Joins Long & Foster’s Shore Drive-Coastal Office in Cape Charles, Virginia

Long & Foster Real Estate welcomes Erika Schadt to its Cape Charles, Virginia, office on the Eastern Shore. Schadt will specialize in working with homebuyers and sellers.

Schadt is participating in Long & Foster’s Success Path program, which offers extensive training and resources for agents at any stage of their career. The program’s curriculum includes tools for agents to build their business, mentor-style programs, techniques for prospecting and working with buyers and sellers, skills for negotiating and more.

Schadt was born in Virginia Beach and moved to Emerald Isle, North Carolina, when her parents bought a restaurant in 1988. She grew up in the restaurant business and has worked in hopsititaliy for as long as she can remember. Schadt graduated from Carteret Community College with a degree in hospitality management and certificate of veterinary assistance before she attended the Alpha College of Real Estate this past September. Schadt moved to Cape Charles after marrying her long-time friend from childhood, Christopher, in 2011. Her husband is in the military and is currently stationed in Chesapeake. They have two boys, Fisher and Mattix. Schadt’s personal motto is, “All progress takes place outside the comfort zone.” In her spare time, Schadt enjoys cooking, exercising, going boating and fishing with her family.
