“We are very excited and fortunate to have Eric join our team of highly trained professionals,” said John VanderSyde, manager of the Strawberry Street Sales office. “The combination of Long & Foster and Eric’s unique skills and knowledge will no doubt provide the highest level of service to local buyers and sellers.”

Morris is participating in Long & Foster’s Success Path program, which offers extensive training and resources for agents at any stage of their career. The program’s curriculum includes tools for agents to build their business, mentor-style programs, techniques for prospecting and working with buyers and sellers, skills for negotiating and more. Morris holds membership in the Richmond Association of Realtors.

“Since I was a child, I have been fascinated with houses.  To pass the time, I would spend hours with graph paper and a pencil, creating floor plans,” said Morris.  “As an adult, I often find myself touring model homes and open houses.  I have every episode of HGTV’s House Hunters memorized.  As a result, it is my passion to meet buyers and sellers where they are to ensure the best results for each transaction.”

“The dynamics of today’s residential real estate market are constantly changing. Participating in our Success Path program has provided Eric with the right tools to meet those changing dynamics,” said Larry “Boomer” Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “We welcome Eric to Long & Foster, a company that has helped local buyers and sellers reach their homeownership goals for more than 50 years.”

A life-long resident of Central Virginia, Morris is native of Fredericksburg and has called Richmond home since 2004. His knowledge of the Richmond metropolitan area, and his dedication to client service, enables him to meet the needs and expectations of his buyers and sellers.

Morris has served for 32 years as a civil servant as a financial management leader for the Department of Navy and Marine Corps, with additional certifications as a Certified Defense Financial Manager. He also has been president of the American Society of Military Comptrollers-Quantico Chapter. This experience enhances the thoroughness Morris brings into his real estate business and  uniquely positions him to serve active and former military service members, as well as the general public, through all phases of real estate sales and service.  It is with these skills and experience that he meets every client with respect, integrity and the utmost professionalism.

In conjunction with this family of Long & Foster Real Estate professionals, Morris offers his clients corporate affiliations and partnerships including mortgage, title, insurance, relocation, property management, vacation rentals, and more – all working together to help those he serves buy and sell their dream homes.
