Tonya Mickey Named Manager of Long & Foster’s Ft. Washington, Md., Office

Tonya Mickey, a real estate and hospitality industry professional, has been named manager of Long & Foster Real Estate’s Ft. Washington office, located at 10901 Indian Head Highway in Ft. Washington, Md. Mickey brings nearly 20 years of sales management experience to her new position at Long & Foster, the No. 1 independent residential real estate company in the country.

Mickey comes to Long & Foster with a background in residential real estate sales and management, as well as corporate relocation services. During her career, she has led two real estate offices in Charles and Prince George’s counties. Mickey’s emphasis on training helps her to maintain and motivate her team, as well as increase overall productivity. Most recently, she relied on these skills at a local hotel, where she served as director of sales and marketing. In that role, she managed a variety of sales-related tasks, from general account management to customer service.

Mickey has earned several awards during her career, including sales production and performance awards from her previous brokerages. She previously earned the Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) designation and has completed paralegal studies, as well as other leadership development programs. Mickey also has volunteered with the Charles County Chamber of Commerce and previously served on its board of directors.
