Ron Glass has been named branch manager for Long & Foster Real Estate’s Commercial Division office in Vienna, Virginia. Glass has been a top-producing commercial real estate agent with Long & Foster for many years and brings a wealth of experience to his new position. He takes the place of Ken Ulsaker, who retired in June.

Glass has been a licensed real estate broker in Virginia since 1978, and also holds real estate licenses in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and North Carolina. He has extensive experience in retail and office leasing and sales, cash flow, bottom-line analysis and investor opportunities. Glass is a member of The Commercial Network, also known as TCN Worldwide, and he is also a member of Virginia Realtors and the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors.

“I’m thrilled to officially begin this new role with the Commercial Division of Long & Foster,” Glass said. “Having worked alongside the fantastic agents in this office for many years, I know they are a talented, driven group of individuals who are passionate about their work. I look forward to working with more agents as they grow their careers.”

“We’re excited that Ron is taking on this leadership role with our Commercial Division office and we know his experience and knowledge will be very beneficial to our sales associates,” said Larry “Boomer” Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “His love of real estate, commitment to the industry and high level of expertise will serve him well in helping Long & Foster’s Commercial Division continue to grow throughout the region.”

Previously, Glass held corporate positions with AT&T and Bell Atlantic. He is a former board member of the Southeast Fairfax Development Corporation and is the former chairman on the Economic Development Committee for the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce. Glass earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from West Virginia University.
