Brokerage relocates to prime real estate near Dulles Toll Road

The Reston, Virginia, office of Long & Foster Real Estate, the No. 1 privately owned residential real estate company in the United States, has relocated to a new and more modern facility. Now located at 2100 Reston Parkway, the office is conveniently situated near the Dulles Toll Road and features a combination open-plan and private design for maximum collaboration and business development. It is easily accessible to home buyers and sellers in the Dulles Technology Corridor and is home to nearly 200 Realtors, who are experts in the local real estate markets in Reston, Herndon and the surrounding areas.

Entering through the office’s glass-front entrance, you’ll see its contemporary design and cool blue and grey tones. Wide plank tile flooring dresses the foyer, which leads to numerous private workspaces, training facilities and meeting rooms, as well as an open-design workspace. The expansive open area comprises much of the office’s space, and it is virtually free of dividing walls. Wide glass windows fill the room with light, creating an airy workspace that is designed for partnership and productivity.

Contemporary white-and-grey flattop desks are open for anyone to use in the open-plan space. An adjoining café style workspace features high-top tables and stools, as well as a great comfortable space for agents to gather and collaborate. Several private offices are also available for the company’s leading Realtors and teams, providing a comfortable and quiet area for these agents to build their businesses. In addition, RGS Title, a prestige partner of Long & Foster Settlement Services, is located within the new facility. Two mortgage consultants with Prosperity Home Mortgage, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Long & Foster Companies, also operate from there.

“At Long & Foster, we’re dedicated to having the best trained and best equipped agents in the business, and this new office helps us to accomplish those goals—giving us a contemporary and functional workspace that promotes collaboration and education,” said Athena Petersen and Anita Lasansky, managers of the Reston office. “Reston has a thriving real estate market, and we’re in a prime position to grow our team and even better support the homebuyers, sellers and investors in our local market.”

Petersen and Lasansky lead the Reston office together, and they are supported by Debban Dodrill and Randi Halavazis, the location’s sales managers. Petersen previously oversaw Long & Foster’s Reston office on Wiehle Avenue, which closed with the move to the new facility on Reston Parkway. Lasansky led Long & Foster’s Reston North Hills/Herndon location, which will continue to operate as a satellite location for the real estate brokerage.

Petersen’s and Lasansky’s excitement about the new facility was shared by Karen Kidwell, senior vice president and regional manager of Long & Foster’s Northern Virginia/West Virginia region. “Our level of customer service is further enhanced with one-stop shopping—in addition to our professionally trained agents and staff, this location is home to our affiliated partners in mortgage and settlement. With dozens of offices in Northern Virginia, we are well positioned to serve all real estate needs in the region,” Kidwell said.
