Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest family-owned residential real estate company in the United States, is proud to announce that Jan Rucinski, a property manager with the Virginia Beach property management office, has received the Ann Swearingen 2015 Residential Property Manager of the Year award from the Virginia Association of Realtors.

This award is presented to a property manager who demonstrates exceptional service, dedication and professionalism to their clients and customers. This recognition on a statewide level follows Rucinski’s being awarded the local designation in the Hampton Roads region as a consummate professional property manager every year since 1990.

“Long & Foster is proud that the Virginia Association of Realtors has recognized Jan’s many accomplishments and her commitment to the industry. Jan is a true professional in the real estate industry, and her dedication to her landlords and tenants is a testament to her passion for the real estate industry,” said Paul Timpane, vice president of the Long & Foster Property Management Division.

Rucinski, a professional in the property management industry for the past 25 years, lives in Virginia Beach with her husband who was present to celebrate this honor.

“It’s Jan’s commitment that has enabled her to earn an honor such as this one, and we’re proud to have her as part of the Long & Foster family,” said Joe Amatangelo, president of Long & Foster Property Management Division. “Our company has a reputation of honesty, integrity and best-in-class customer service that spans 45 years, and the talent of professionals like Jan is why we remain the top real estate company in the Mid-Atlantic.”
