Long & Foster’s Alexandria/Kingstowne Center Office to Host Comfort Cases Donation Drive and Packing Party

April 10, 2017

Long & Foster Real Estate has announced that its Alexandria/Kingstowne Center sales office in Alexandria, Virginia, will hold a donation drive for Comfort Cases. The collection began on April 3 and will run through June 6. The event will be open to the public.

Comfort Cases provides children in foster care with essential goods and comfort items. During the event Long & Foster sales associates and staff, as well as community members, are welcome to bring donations of backpacks, sleepwear, small blankets, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes, and more. A full wish list of donation items can be found below.

“Comfort Cases is a local charity that helps give comfort and support to the thousands of children who enter foster care each year,” said Lenny Marsh, managing broker of Long & Foster’s Alexandria/Kingstowne Center office. “Most of these children have little more than the clothes they are wearing when they enter a new foster home. Comfort Cases provides these brave children with the essentials they need on their journey to find a home. We will be collecting items at our office up until June 6, 2017. If you would like to make a donation and help be a part of this beautiful cause, please let us know.”
