The Captain's Cove auxiliary office celebrates its grand opening with a ribbon cutting.

The Long & Foster Shore Drive/Coastal office has opened an auxiliary location at 37054 State Line Road in Accomack County, Virginia. The new location will help maximize the exposure of the many unique properties offered for sale on the eastern shore of Virginia and the adjacent recreational neighborhood of Captain’s Cove located on the Chincoteague Bay. This auxiliary office will be led by Patty Woodhurst and managed by John Powell, managing broker of the Shore Drive/Coastal office.

“We are thrilled to continue our expansion on the eastern shore of Virginia. This area is an ideal vacation oasis for many of our northern friends and we can now provide unparalled service and coverage for both buyers and sellers making a move,” Powell said.

“Captain’s Cove is a great area and this newest location is a perfect spot to continue our growth in the Hampton Roads region,” said Scott Shaheen, senior vice president of the southern Virginia region for Long & Foster Real Estate.  “We now have eight offices throughout the Hampton Roads region and know that we provide the best locations and convenience for all our buyers and sellers.”

Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate, added that Long & Foster has been home to the best-trained and best-equipped agents in the industry for more than 45 years. “We have no doubt that this new office will be the go-to resource when consumers in the Tidewater area are looking to make confident, well-informed buying and selling decisions,” Scott said.
