On the modern and responsive Long & Foster website, home search is top of mind, allowing consumers to find what they’re looking for quickly and easily.

Responsive site features fresh, modern design for today’s homebuyers & sellers

Long & Foster Real Estate, the No. 1 privately owned residential real estate company in the United States, has launched its all-new company website, LongandFoster.com. On the modern and responsive website, home search is top of mind, allowing consumers to find what they’re looking for quickly and easily. The site also tells the story of Long & Foster and its agents in a captivating and compelling way, showcasing the brokerage’s real estate expertise and its Love of Home™.

Long & Foster worked with RP3 Agency, Real Estate Digital (RED),  and 1000watt, among other strategic partners, in the design and production of its site to ensure it met and exceeded the demands of consumers today and long into the future. RP3 created the site’s overall look-and-feel, employing their organization’s expertise in user experience, user interface and responsive design. RED developed and built the platform upon which the site lives, and they navigated the complex back-end multiple listing service (MLS), compliance process and data integration. 1000watt shared their expert insight on real estate websites, implementing best practices on the new site and conducting usability testing with consumers to ensure its success.

“By enlisting some of the brightest and best in their industries to support our website redesign, we ensured our site delivers on the expectations of today’s home buyers, sellers and real estate agents,” said Barry Redler, chief marketing officer for The Long & Foster Companies, parent company of Long & Foster Real Estate. “From our Smarter Home Search, which allows you to search for a property by mortgage payment, to our simplified agent search, where consumers can find an agent to help with their real estate needs, the site makes it easy for consumers to find that place to call home. Visitors to the site can also leverage our vast network of professionals, who can help with everything from buying and selling a home to renting and owning an investment property.”

Hundreds of thousands of for sale and rental listings are featured on the new Long & Foster website, including properties listed with Long & Foster and other brokerages—providing a comprehensive look at the marketplace. The website even identifies how many homes are on the market on a particular day with a dynamically updating figure that’s prominently displayed on the home page. Visitors can also view details on recently sold properties from the website and connect with an agent via text, email or phone—whichever way works best for the consumer.

Using the site’s easy-to-use online search, would-be buyers and sellers can find one of Long & Foster’s over 10,000 agents or more than 220 offices to help with all their real estate needs. Additionally, if visitors need assistance with financing, insurance, property management, vacation rentals or settlement, they will find everything they need to get started on the new LongandFoster.com.

The new website also does more than help visitors find the perfect home; it helps them find the perfect community as well. Through the Communities section of LongandFoster.com, consumers get an inside look at local cities and neighborhoods. Hundreds of communities are featured on the site, and each community page highlights what dining, nightlife and other attractions are located in that community, as well as what properties are for sale, how the market is performing and many other insider details.
