Companies extend their real estate relationship to cover more ground in the greater Philadelphia area

Long & Foster Real Estate, the nation’s No. 1 privately owned residential real estate company, recently partnered with Rental Beast, an online real estate technology company providing a comprehensive leasing platform. The successful partnership, which kicked off in the Washington D.C., West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland markets, is now expanding to Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Founded in 2009 by CEO Ishay Grinberg, Rental Beast is an easy-to-use platform with access to more than 4.5 million rental listings across the United States. It connects property owners and property managers with highly qualified tenants through a network of hyper-localized real estate experts. Rental Beast provides a unique and holistic experience from the first “click” to a signed lease, offering its broker partners with the largest rental inventory and most cutting-edge industry tools available.

Going forward, Long & Foster has expanded access to Rental Beast’s robust platform in the greater Philadelphia area, including extensive rental listings not available on the MLS and the most up-to-date database available. In turn, Rental Beast visitors in these areas will be able to connect directly with Long & Foster’s leading, local real estate experts.

“We’ve seen tremendous success in the past few months working with Rental Beast in the greater Washington, D.C., market,” said Joe Amatangelo, president of Long & Foster’s Rental division. “Not only have our real estate agents been able to better support their rental clients with the Rental Beast system, but also consumers searching for rental properties on our website now have access to even more inventory in their desired communities. By expanding our partnership to the greater Philadelphia area, rental clients in those markets will be able to benefit from these added services, too.”

Founded in 1968, Long & Foster has grown from a single, 600-square-foot office in Fairfax, Virginia, to the No. 1 privately owned real estate company in the United States. Long & Foster currently has more than 220 offices and over 11,000 sales associates in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia, Delaware and North Carolina.

“Working with the largest privately owned real estate company in the United States further validates the technology, quantity and quality of the Rental Beast database,” said Grinberg. “Rental Beast looks forward to helping Long & Foster agents and the renters they serve to find the best rental options available and help those renters considering their first purchase navigate the market.”

With Rental Beast’s technology, Long & Foster’s experts can more efficiently connect and advise property owners and managers on market opportunities. They can also offer prospective tenants informed area recommendations, property tours and lease-signing assistance through Rental Beast.

“We are excited to provide our agents with these effective tools to navigate the rental market,” said Ron Clarke and Bob Albanese, senior vice presidents and regional managers of Long & Foster’s Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware regions. “With our exceptional agents and their industry expertise, as well as the comprehensive Rental Beast platform, Long & Foster will remain the go-to destination for any renters looking to find the best possible service and apartments or home that fits their needs throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.”

Rental Beast, which launched in Boston, has expanded into 11 markets across the country and has similar partnerships with additional real estate companies in other cities. For more information on Rental Beast, visit RentalBeast.com. For more information on Long & Foster, visit LongAndFoster.com.
