Fonville Morisey Realty was honored Thursday evening (Dec. 1) as one of Triangle Business Journal’s inaugural Family Business Award winners. The publication chose 19 local companies to receive the award, which was created to highlight the region’s strong family business sector.

Announced in October, the awards recognize family owned businesses in the Triangle region that are known for excellence, innovation, ethics, philanthropy and for what they contribute to the region.

“We’re honored to have been chosen as a recipient of this special award,” said Rod Eller, senior vice president and regional manager of Fonville Morisey. “Since 1973, Fonville Morisey has led the Triangle real estate market due in large part to our core values.  Our sales associates, clients, and employees truly are family to us and we are proud to be the only family owned residential real estate firm in the Triangle area. We’re thankful to have been included among such an esteemed group of businesses.”

In addition to honoring the Family Business Award winners at a dinner at the Prestonwood Country Club, the Triangle Business Journal also profiled all 19 winners in a special section of the publication on Friday (Dec. 2).

Fonville Morisey Realty has 11 sales offices throughout the Greater Triangle region and also offers mortgage and title services, real estate education courses and relocation services. For more information about Fonville Morisey Realty, visit www.fmrealty.com.
