Josh and Breese Romano have a new place to call home: Long & Foster Real Estate. The dynamic couple behind Cobblestone Development Group (and the recently aired Richmond Rehabbers HGTV pilot) has moved its real estate affiliation to the Strawberry Street office of Long & Foster, the No. 1 real estate brokerage in the Richmond market and a longtime local real estate firm.

A number of items factored into the Romanos’ decision to join Long & Foster in Virginia’s capital city. Not only does Long & Foster’s family-focused approach appeal to the young couple, but also the commitment to providing a foundation built on values and driven by exceptional service to clients and customers.

“Long & Foster has an impressive history in Richmond—both as a real estate company and an integral part of our hometown. At our very first meeting with Brian Haug, who leads the Richmond region for Long & Foster, we were excited to share our common goals. The synergy that he is bringing to a team of amazing managers and agents is something that we feel will enhance our business and create new opportunities for Long & Foster as well,” said the Romanos. “As entrepreneurs, we constantly are striving to become better versions of ourselves. The vision that we have shared with Brian is the same focus he has for the future and we want to be a part of it.”

Haug, who serves as senior vice president and regional manager for Long & Foster in Richmond, Hampton Roads and Southwest Virginia, said he is extremely pleased that Cobblestone is making its new home with Long & Foster.

“The energy and passion that Josh and Breese have for the real estate industry and for the city of Richmond is incredible. They are movers and shakers, and I can’t say enough about how great it is that they chose our company for their partnership,” Haug said. “The Romanos believe in preserving the rich tradition of our area and we share that same value. Long & Foster is the past, the present and the future of Richmond real estate. Our great team of agents has created a strong foundation and has made our company what it is today.”

Cobblestone Development works to preserve the historical uniqueness of Richmond area properties while modernizing them for the needs of today’s homeowners. In the past five years, the company has fully renovated over 75 local properties. The business has also expanded into development projects and Josh and Breese, both licensed Realtors, sell their renovated properties and other existing homes in the area. Josh has primarily focused on the renovation and project development while Breese has led the way on the interior design efforts.

While they are passionate about their careers, their first priority is their family. As parents and Museum District residents, they want to continue to make Richmond a great place to live.
