The boutique real estate company and top-producing team build on their history

City Systems, a boutique real estate company based in Wilmington, Delaware, announced it has merged with The Mottola Group of Long & Foster, Delaware and Pennsylvania’s premier real estate team. City Systems has experienced tremendous growth since transitioning from a real estate company that changed the landscape of Wilmington through historic renovations to a company that today focuses solely on real estate brokerage.

“We are excited about this opportunity to strengthen our resources and to continue to grow our business,” said Bonnie Sherr, who founded City Systems in 1981 with her late husband Vino Cericola. “This is a wonderful new chapter for City Systems and we are thrilled to join The Mottola Group.”

“By combining our strengths, we will continue to offer our clients personalized, hands-on service,” said Meredith Rosenthal, who joined City Systems as a real estate agent in 2006. “This venture will allow us to build on each organization’s unique talents.”

City Systems and The Mottola Group, led by Stephen Mottola, have a long history of working together, and the merger brings this relationship full circle. In the mid-1990s, Mottola recognized the quality of and demand for City Systems’ home renovation services, and he was known to sell the homes even before work began. Mottola also worked closely with City Systems on the renovation of his personal residences. Combining teams is a testament to the amount of trust that exists between City Systems and The Mottola Group.

“We are thrilled to have Bonnie and Meredith of City Systems join our family of agents at The Mottola Group,” Mottola said. “They have a reputation for excellence, a philosophy of meeting the clients’ every need and a knack for building strong relationships. By combining our expertise and skills, we’ll be able to continue to grow our presence in Delaware and Pennsylvania and provide unparalleled service to each buyer, seller and investor we work with.”

“We are pleased to welcome City Systems to The Mottola Group and to Long & Foster Real Estate,” said R.T. Christopher, managing broker of Long & Foster’s Greenville sales office, of which The Mottola Group is an affiliate. “Bonnie and Meredith have high professional standards that fit well with our own values of integrity, honesty, innovation and the best possible customer service. We know they will be an excellent addition to The Mottola Group and our company.”
