Real estate professional brings over 30 years of sales, management experience

Brian Lipsky, an accomplished real estate leader, has been named as the branch manager of the Eldersburg, Maryland, office of Long & Foster Real Estate, the nation’s No.1 private residential real estate brokerage by sales volume. Lipsky is taking the place of Joe Deluca, who is retiring. Lipsky most recently led Long & Foster’s office in Ellicott City, Maryland, and he brings over 30 years of experience to his new position.

“I am very excited to begin my new role managing Long & Foster’s Eldersburg office,” Lipsky said. “Having worked with the company for so many years, I’ve seen the unbeatable support that Long & Foster and its management team provides to its family of sales associates. I look forward to growing our sales team at the Eldersburg office and working with them to ensure they have all that they need to succeed in their careers and provide excellent service to their clients.”

During his sales career, Lipsky listed, sold and settled over $100 million in real estate sales volume, earning numerous honors for his sales accomplishments and customer service. He ranked among the top brokers throughout Carroll County and as one of the top listing agents in Long & Foster’s Baltimore/Western Maryland region.

That success paved his path to leadership roles with the company, and in 2003, he was chosen as the manager of Long & Foster’s Olney office. Four years later, he was selected to helm the Ellicott City office, where he has since been helping support its agents as they build their business.

Committed to lifelong learning, Lipsky has completed a variety of leadership development programs with Long & Foster and in the real estate industry, including being a certified mentor with Buffini & Company. As a manager, Lipsky readily shares his industry knowledge and expertise with his agents, helping them grow in their careers and better serve their clients.

“Brian has a wealth of experience and knowledge as a leader, and for many years he has used it to support Long & Foster’s real estate professionals in achieving success in their careers,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “We know that Brian’s guidance and expertise will greatly benefit the agents at our Eldersburg office. In addition, his dedication to the industry and community will help us continue to grow our business in the greater Baltimore region.”

Lipsky is actively involved in the local real estate community, earning the title of Realtor of the Year from the Howard County Association of Realtors in 2014. He has served on the organization’s board of directors and with many of its committees, including the Broker/Manager Committee and the Forms and Grievances Committee.

In addition to his work in the real estate industry, Lipsky is active in his local community. He was a Cub Scout leader and one of the founders of Boy Scout Troop 2007 in Westminster, Maryland. He served as advancement chairman, committee chairman and fundraising chairman of the troop. Lipsky also has volunteered as a team captain for Relay for Life and for the Parkinson’s Walk in Frederick, Maryland. He has also volunteered with The Shepherd’s Staff in Westminster, and he regularly supports the American Red Cross.
